In celebration of our 5th year anniversary, we saw the need to engage in a community project as part of giving back to society. As an organization that has been at the forefront of equipping, training, and empowering African kids and teenagers on emerging technological and digital skills for global relevance, we understand the need for the young ones to have digital literacy knowledge because these kids have a lot of potential in them while most of them lack the opportunity to bring forth their creativity. Ijoko Programming Bootcamp is a free 1-week training that gives kids and teenagers between the age of 8 and 18 in the community, the opportunity to learn to program effectively and build projects.
